Has the United States opted out of the United Nations?
Following on from my previous post (https://occidentis.blogspot.com/2026/01/trumps-actions-are-illegal.html) I suggest that it is impossible for the United States to remain a signatory of the UN Charter and a member state of the United Nations. There is no reason why the US cannot choose to invade a fellow member state and kidnap the head of state of that other country if the US can convince its executive, its citizens and its army that it is vital to the interests of the United States.
But it does seem to me that it is impossible for the United States to remain a member of the United Nations while also breaking article 2 paragraphs 3 and 4 of the charter. The United States has behaved in a manner incompatible with membership, and has done so voluntarily.
